World Peace Pig
The pig is painted with longitude and latitude lines to represent the globe. The flags are either made with products from the respective country or painted on. An international work, World Peace Pig draws the attention of the viewer to various places in the world and what they have to offer.
Ross Palmer Beecher
Ross has a background in painting, printmaking and illustration, and has had several group and one-person exhibitions at local and national galleries. She has also been the recipient of several awards, commissions and grants. Ross has worked on many public art projects here in Seattle and she is Artist in Residence at Bailey Boushay.
